Q: How do I subscribe to your e-flier?
A: There are several ways to receive our job e-Fliers. As a job seeker, you can upload your resume so that potential employers with vacancies can search for you. With this option you can also select to receive our e-flier, which included open positions related to your field of expertise. To enter your seeker profile, visit our homepage, select your discipline from the left, then select "Post Your Resume" from the left menu.
The other way to receive our e-flier is to visit this page, where you will choose an e-flier to receive without entering a seeker profile.
Q: How do I search for jobs on your site?
A: In addition to our e-flier, you can search for positions on our discipline-specific sites. Simply go to our homepage, select your discipline at the left, then click on "View Jobs" at the top of the page. You may then narrow down your search or view all available jobs in that category. There is no charge for any of our job seeker services.
Q: How long will my resume be viewable on your website?
A: The resumes and seeker profiles posted on AcademicKeys.com will be viewable for eight (8) months. Applicants are encouraged to update their information and post a new resume after eight (8) months.
Q: Can you post your resume under more than one discipline? If so, how?
A: To post your resume under multiple disciplines, you will have to go to each discipline-specific posting page and enter your biographical data. You MUST provide a unique Username for each discipline to which you post your data (and resume). You will then have two (or perhaps more) records in our data base, but each will be specific to a particular school.
Q: How can I update my seeker profile/resume or change which e-flier I receive?
A: Select the 'Post Resume' option from the left menu of any of our discipline-specific pages. You can then log in with the username and password you created previously. All of the information that you have provided can be changed. In addition, you may upload and replace the existing resume that is stored on our site.
Q: How do I apply for jobs I see advertised with AcademicKeys.com?
A: Each job's detailed description contains contact information and application instructions.
Q: I forgot my username and/or password. How do I get it?
A: If you forgot your password only, please proceed to the seeker forgotten password page, and enter your username and email address.
If you have forgotten your username, please email us at EmailUs@AcademicKeys.com, and we would be happy to reset your password and retreive your username.
